Definitions

• Account: A personalized user profile created by a parent or guardian to access and manage the Daily Tables Service, including child profiles and subscription settings.
• Affiliate: Any legal entity that shares common control (defined as 50% or more ownership) with Daily Tables, or that is controlled by it directly or indirectly.
• Application (“App”):The Daily Tables mobile app, available on iOS and Android, is made to help kids improve their multiplication abilities and monitor their development.
• Company (“We”, “Us”, “Our”): Daily Tables

• Cookies: Small text files placed on a Device by a website or app to record browsing activity, preferences, and session data. Daily Tables uses cookies solely for parent/guardian accounts.

• Device: any type of hardware that can access the service by connecting through the internet which includes smartphones, tablets, computers, laptops or any other kind of internet enabled gadget.
• Personal Data: Information that has been provided directly by an individual and can be associated with said individual such as names, email addresses, or payment details.
• Service: The Daily Tables Application and its associated features, including worksheet generation, progress tracking, and reward management.
• Service Provider: Trusted third-party entities engaged by Daily Tables to process data on our behalf (e.g., Firebase for analytics, AWS for secure storage).
• Usage Data: Automatically collected technical information, such as IP addresses, device types, crash logs, and interaction metrics (e.g., time spent per quiz).
• You: A parent, guardian, or legal custodian responsible for creating and managing child profiles on the Daily Tables App.

A. Personal Data

1. Parents/Guardians

   • Required Information:

     • Email address (used for account creation, communication, and parental consent verification).
     • First and last name (to personalize your account and correspondence).

   • Optional Information:

     • Profile customization details, such as uploaded avatars or preferred language settings.

   • Payment Information:

     • Subscription fees (£1.49/month or £12.99/year) are processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Daily Tables does not store or access payment card details.

2. Children

   • Provided by Parents:

     • First name, last name, and date of birth (DOB) to tailor worksheets to the child’s age and skill level.

   • Progress Data:

     • Educational metrics, including worksheets completed, accuracy rates, and rewards earned (e.g.,points or badges).

B. Usage Data

• Automatically collected technical details, such as device model, operating system, IP address, and app interaction patterns (e.g., time spent per activity, features accessed).

C. Tracking Technologies

• Cookies: Used exclusively for parent accounts to:
  • Maintain secure login sessions (Necessary Cookies).
  • Remember preferences like language or theme settings (Functionality Cookies).
• Children’s Accounts: No cookies, advertising trackers, or behavioral monitoring tools are employed.

Use of Your Personal Data

Daily Tables uses collected data exclusively for the following purposes:

1. Service Delivery:

   • Generate age-appropriate worksheets based on a child’s DOB and progress.
   • Enable parents to set learning goals (e.g., “Complete 10 worksheets to earn £5”) and monitor achievements.

2. Subscription Management:

   • Process payments, renewals, and free trials via app store platforms.

3. Security & Compliance:

   • Encrypt all data using SSL/TLS (in transit) and AES-256 (at rest).
   • Verify parental consent via email confirmation during account setup.

4. Improvement of Features:

We Do NOT:

• Sell, lease, or share data with advertisers, schools, or third-party marketers.
• Use child data for profiling, advertising, or non-educational purposes.

Sharing Your Personal Data

   • AWS: Stores encrypted child profiles and progress data; access is restricted to Daily Tables personnel.

Data Retention & Deletion

• Retention Period: Data is retained until a parent deletes their account or individual child profiles.
• Parent Controls: Instantly delete child profiles via:
  1. Sign into your parent Account.
  2. Navigate to “Child Profile Settings.”
  3. Select “Delete Profile” – data is permanently erased within 30 days.
• Residual Data: Subscription records (e.g., invoices) are retained for 7 years to comply with UK financial regulations.

Children’s Privacy

Daily Tables prioritizes child safety through:

1. Regulatory Compliance:

   • UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018: Ensure lawful processing of children’s data.
   • COPPA: Prohibits direct collection of data from children under 13 without parental consent.
   • Age-Appropriate Design Code: Prioritizes privacy and safety in app design for minors.

2. Parental Authority:

   • Consent is verified via email during account creation.
   • Parents may review, edit, or delete child data at any time through the app.

3. Security Measures:
